March 03 Media Man Infultrates Sydney Paparazzi, TV Station On Market, Desparate and Dateless and New MediaMedia Man Infultrates Sydney Paparazzi, TV Station On Market, Desparate and Dateless and New Media Folks, what a week, and what a day. As some of the inner circle already know, we have well and truely infultrated the Sydney paparazzi scence. For the past few weeks we have been collaborating with a number of professional photographers and photo jounalists in Sydney. It was Bill Ranken who really opened up these great opportunities, starting with the Pirelli Calandar Girl launch at east Sydney's Ferrari dealership. Marc Stanley and Sheree Webber of Tito Media have been great, but the individual who has most impressed me is the so-called "bandit" paparazzi, Pierre Smithdorf. Pierre was at it today with me at The Rocks, and we snapped and met Leo Sayer, Peter Ferrari (Founder of Desperate and Dateless Ball) and Priscilla Presley. Earlier in the day Pierri "got" Jane Fonda and Sydney Airport. Yesterday Pierre and I stumbled across a fire at Luna Park 30 meters north of where the D&D Ball was taking place, and security too offence to him taking photos! Last Sunday Westfield security at Bondi Junction removed the box that Pierre was going to stand on to take photos on of Harrison Ford, with some OH&S spin. By the way, we learned that Harrison Ford wasn't too impressed with Westfield. The Daily Telegraph published 'Mall for nothing', which is about right, on the 25th of February. Westfield is not a place to hold film premiers. We will soon be posting more photos of the events we have been attending. Channel 58 New Zealand - including 'The Down Under Channel' - profile - sale getting closer. For some reason many potential investors have been contacting me over the past few weeks about the TV station and license for sale. It's likely got something to me organising Max Markson to appear on New Zealand's Talk Radio station, Newstalk ZB, where he talked about Bill Clinton's tour. Folks are standing up and taking notice. New Media - our projects, Hottest On TV, PinkMillionDollars.com, VroomVroomVroom.com, BANGitUP.com and a few others are on fire. 1.2 million hits per month can't be wrong. Articles on Media Man Australia associates and the like: Warne wrong-un a hit with ex-model - Daily Telegraph - 21st February 2006. I'm delighted to say that it was myself who floated names, Bessie Bardot and Annalise Braakensiek to Messages On Hold CEO, Kym Illman, 6 months ago. Some things in this business take time. Sydney Morning Herald to run a story on us - that's right, it's our turn again to have a news story on us. Something about the art of networking. This will be in the SMH in less than 3 weeks. Overseas plans and expansion - we are starting to prepare for a trip to Scotland and the U.S. Many thanks for Steve Cooke, Bob Winstead, Colin Handley, and all our friends and clients who pay on time, for helping make our upcoming trip a reality. Million Dollar projects are all the rage - it's hard not to like projects and clients with names like PinkMillionDollars.com, Millionaires Directory and Million Dollar Babes. Lovely to meet Paris Hilton look-a-like, Angie Mogridge and Laura from Million Dollar Babes. Speaking of gorgoues women, lovely to meet so many of you recently. You know who you are! Anyone reading, I'm still single, but on the look out for the right one! People Power - special thanks Grant Dwyer for the opportunity collaborate with you on a few projects. The Pierelli Calandar launch and Sony BMG signing were great events. There's been much more going on, but we are not going to totally let the cat out of the bag. You will have to keep checking the website and blog, and if you really want all the goss, pick up the phone and call our office. Oh, there's a few court cases coming up. A stalker related matter...something to do with Virgin, and another matter related to a proposed television show on an island, that was more fantasy than reality! We have met with one of the young ladies who appartment was trashed by the mongrels who did it. Those bad guys, as were featured on Nine's 'A Current Affair', are going down for the count, as is the Virgin wantabee stalker. For further news update you can check the News section of the website. Thanks for your support. Best Regards Greg Tingle Director Media Man Australia e: greg@mediaman.com.au w: www.mediaman.com.au |
